4/23/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: QMHP-C conducted a family session with Anthony and his family. The focus of the session was to address Anthony’s anger. Upon arrival at the home, Anthony appeared withdrawn evident by his facial expression. Ms. Broadnax reported that Anthony has been off on and off when and it has gotten to the point where is out of control with his siblings. 2. Behavior: Anthony appeared to be angry at times throughout the session as he did not want to accept the fact that his mother was telling QMHP-C about his behaviors how he treats his siblings. 1.Intervention: QMHP-C began session by processing with Anthony him current emotional state. QMHP-C reviewed interventions from the previous session and explored with Anthony and his mother Anthony’s feelings and his behaviors in the home. QMHP-C redirected Anthony’s mother throughout the session to address the questions and respond to Anthony’s statements. QMHP-C processed with Anthony’s mother the impact of his past on her current relationship with Anthony and his siblings. 2. Intervention: QMHP-C explored with Anthony and his mother ways to improve their relationship and ways to improve the relationships with everyone in the home. QMHP-C ended session by reviewing interventions with Anthony and his mother and encouraging them to provide feedback on the session. 1. Response: Anthony actively participated throughout the session. While processing with Anthony him current emotional state, Anthony shared that he was anxious about family session and he did not know if he was going to say anything. While reviewing interventions from the previous session and exploring with Anthony’s mother Anthony’s relationships with others in the home, Anthony’s mother shared that she felt Anthony continued to have a strained relationship with his siblings, but that he had a positive relationship with him. Anthony appeared irritated, evident by his facial expression, but when prompted by QMHP-C, shared that he did not have anything to say. Anthony’s siblings shared that they felt Anthony’s mother did not love them and Anthony’s mother appeared shocked, evident by his facial expression. 2. Response: Anthony’s mother stated that she will implement the rule of everyone telling another family member that they love them and why they love them each day. At the end of the session, Anthony stated that he was unsure of the effectiveness of the family session, but was hopeful that things will begin to change.
